About me

In 2019, I graduated from NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences. After graduation, I worked for MediaMonks, creating video productions meant for their internal and external audiences, with the accumulated reach of around 6 million people across the globe, across (internal) social and digital media. By dealing with great projects for big international clients, I learned a lot about the fast paced environment, which is the marketing industry, and developed a high level of flexibility to adapt to this pace.

In 2020, I founded Flameworks Marketing, a digital marketing agency, specialized in creating marketing content. With Flameworks, I have been working for international clients, such as Liberty Global, Just Eat Takeaway.com, LIVEKINDLY Collective, SHV Energy, Free a Girl, GIGAEurope, Liberty Charge, The WICT Network Europe and Orbisk.

Flameworks
2020 - Present
Founder

In 2020 I founded Flameworks Marketing, a digital marketing agency, specialised in creating top-shelf marketing content. With Flameworks I have been working together with lots of international companies, creating all types of marketing content. By doing this, I further developed my knowledge and competencies and became a specialist in the field of marketing, with a strong passion for creating the best possible marketing content.

Magna Carta
2020 - Present
Creative Director

During my start-up with Flameworks I partnered up for a project with Stephan Luiten, the founder of Magna Carta. Ever since then I have been fulfilling the role as Creative Director, being responsible for creating content for digital as well as printing purposes. We have been working for international companies, such as Liberty Global, Virgin Media and GIGAEurope, providing services such as populating their social media timelines with captivating content, managing their Twitter handles, designing Policy Reports for digital & print, and creating multimedia campaigns (one of which winning "Best Corporate Campaign" at the Corp Comms Awards 2021).

The WICT Network Europe
2020 - Present
Deputy Chair Creative Content

While working with Liberty Global on many different projects, I met many people in the Telecommunications Industry. This is how I got introduced to The WICT Network Europe in 2020 (back then named WICT Europe). This is an international organisation with the mission to accelerate equality and inclusion in the media, entertainment and technology industry. I joined as Deputy Chair Creative Content, responsible for creating digital content for all their communication channels, managing the website and keeping it up-to-date and promoting events and workshops with the use of MailChimp and Eventbrite.

MediaMonks
2019 - 2020
Casevideo Editor

In the beginning of 2019, I started working for MediaMonks. As a Casevideo Editor I worked on video content for many global brands (L´Oréal Paris, Google, Nike, Facebook and other clients of MediaMonks). Most of these were casevideos which were used to win awards for the projects. My videos have won multiple awards, such as FWAs, Webby's, Lovies and Cannes Lion shortlists. Besides for award shows, the casevideos also were a great asset for attracting new business and were used by the Business Team to showcase new potential clients all the different things that MediaMonks could do for them.

By working on all these amazing projects, I developed a strong passion and instinct for marketing and video content and I learned the importance of showcasing previous projects.

Geniaal
2018 - Present
PR Manager

Voluntary Working Experience

Since 2018 I am PR Manager of Wagenbouwgroep Geniaal, a non-profit association in Vollenhove, that builds beautiful wagons for the yearly flower festival.

 

As the PR Manager of Geniaal I am together with two team members responsible for creating a strong presence on social media, keeping stakeholders informed with newsletters, organising open days, establishing sponsorships and creating visual content to engage the community of the flower festival with the progress of Geniaal's flower wagon.

Deliciousness Delivered
2018 - 2019
Marketing Manager

During my time studying in Dongguan (China), I met the founder of Deliciousness Delivered who was at that time in the middle of the start-up phase of his company. After discussing his progress and vision, I joined as Marketing Manager to assist in the start-up process from a marketing perspective.

I was responsible for creating their marketing plan. This included a Market Analysis of the US, European and Chinese markets, an analysis of marketing trends in all these markets and a detailed Marketing Strategy. Besides that I created several marketing videos.
